Yes, the color on these is lighter than it appears in the pictures - and they are still very pretty! The green is very light, but provides a nice accent, and the stones are generous in size. It is nice to order jewelry from the Internet and have it be BIGGER than I expected - the opposite is usually true. An unusual stone, and one my wife really likes.

These are a nice size and are well cut, but they have almost no color at all. If I hadn't gotten such a great deal on them I would have returned them as well. I wanted green Amethysts - not clear stones. They aren't at all as pictured or as other green Amethysts I have purchased. If you want the green color, save your money for something else.

This green amethyst set is gorgeous. The stones are a lot lighter in color than they are pictured. The actual color is a very pale, icy, green- almost like clear with a hint of green in it. I too was familiar with what green amethyst looks like and the color is exactly what it should be for that but it does not look like the picture. Do yourself a favor and look up green amethyst in a computer search and see what the stone looks like before buying. The stones were amazingly huge and the settings are very nice as well. Rhodium plating on sterling is hard to find but it prevents tarnish.
I got this for a gift but am so tempted to keep it! I rarely rate anything 5 stars but this set is gorgeous, and a wonderful value for the price...

This necklace and earring set is absolutely gorgeous! The color and clarity are magnificent and I am so glad I purchased them. I wear them all the time.

I got these on the Gold box deal. There was hardly any color to them. Seemed well made and a nice size. I returned them.
